Titan Electrical is a bold, brave new direction for us. You might already have known us as Sunburst Electric, an electrical service provider with friendly, professional electricians. While we still aim to be consummate professionals, we needed something to show a clean break away, a change in destination for our company. Our country needed strength, so we dug deep and found a Titan, just like the mighty myths.

Let’s face it, South Africa’s electrical situation is dire. Load shedding is here to stay, and it is taking a serious toll on our hearts and minds, as well as reducing the lifespan of electrical infrastructure and appliances. We never asked for this situation, but we have to grit our teeth and get by, regardless.

This means spending money on infrastructure to protect our appliances and property, be it surge protection systems or backup systems to keep critical systems running during power outages. The line up of backup solutions is jargon-heavy and fraught with technical terms. With so many options, brands and systems all shouting to get your attention, how do you know which is best for your needs, and importantly, your pocket?

At Titan Electrical, we aim to provide you with expert service, with an emphasis on our expertise. We aren’t trying to just sell you a product and move on to our next customer. We want customers to understand exactly what we recommend and how we reached that conclusion, and we can factor in your budget to find the best solution possible. We believe that our customers shouldn’t have to feel like they are studying to be an electrician just because they want to buy a backup power system. We will break it down for you and explain it simply so that you can make an informed decision.

Titan Electrical doesn’t operate in a vacuum. As one of the franchises managed by Infinity Brands, we are always thinking of holistic solutions for our customers. This includes drawing on experts in other fields to offer balanced, multi-disciplinary solutions. This can take on many different forms. For example, we pair with our electrical retailer franchise to source products at a lower price, passing on that saving directly to you, the client. We are also looking at holistic off-grid solutions with our urban farming franchise. Maybe you picture yourself in a completely off-grid home, complete with water reclamation, growing produce for home use and possibly resale in your community?

We have several exciting prospects in the pipeline and we can’t wait to share more of them with you! By working with our various partners, we can ensure that everything from reticulation up to the finished product is ready for expansion, additions or repurposing. It falls into our new direction too: we do our best to be energy-saving, with environmentally-friendly products and practices in place thanks to discussions with our partners. Sure, we are in the electrical business, but we don’t have to be wasteful.
